Title: Research Specialist
Laboratory Duties: Operation and maintenance of spectrophotometers: Lachat, Perkin-Elmer 100 and 600; alkalinity, acid/base titrations, digestions; as well as 15N diffusions and 13C-DIC and 13C-DOC in water samples for the Environmental Analysis Laboratory.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Geology, NAU, 2002. Taking courses towards a Master of Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management Emphasis. 2.5 years experience as research specialist for CPAL and CPSIL, 2 years experience prior to this as student worker. 3.5 years experience operating, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting various analytical instruments.
