The NAU community is invited to the annual Research Open House on Wednesday, September 9, from 2pm - 5pm in the ARD Building Atrium.  Representatives from NAU's Research Division will be on hand to provide information about:

• intramural funding programs for faculty and undergraduate students
• seeking extramural funding for scholarly and creative activities
• creative services available through the Bilby Research Center
• intellectual property, commercialization and licensing of technologies
• use of human subjects in research
• animal care and use in research
• environmental health and safety

The first annual Research and Creative Activity (RCA) awards will be presented at 3:00pm by President Haegar and Vice President Huenneke, and 2009 NAU "inventors and innovators" will also be recognized.  Refreshments will be served.
