- Social Research Laboratory
The Social Research Laboratory (SRL), a full-service research and teaching facility located within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Northern Arizona University, has been conducting applied research for clients throughout Arizona and the nation since 1988.
The SRL offers quality research services to public, private, and nonprofit clients while providing graduate and undergraduate students at NAU with applied research instruction and experience.
Specializing in public opinion studies, needs assessments, program evaluations, and demographic and social issue analyses, the SRL regularly utilizes telephone survey, web survey, and focus group methodologies in its research projects. (more info) - Health Psychology Center
The Health Psychology Center is a multi-purpose service facility housed with the SBS West building and is operated by the Psychology Department of Northern Arizona University.
Research on health-related problems is conducted through the Center. In addition, research consultation and collaboration are provided to other agencies in health psychology research. Some examples of current Health Psychology research include:

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning is a teaching, research, evaluation, and materials resource for science faculty and students across the NAU campus, K through 20 science teachers, and informal educators statewide. The mission of CSTL is to engage educators in the quest for excellence, access, and equity in science teaching and learning. The CSTL provides leadership in and coordination of science education professional development, academic programs, and outreach activities. CSTL is responsible for the recruitment, advising, and student teaching placement and supervision for secondary science teachers. The CSTL collaborates with the College of Education and departments across the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences in support of secondary science teacher certification, including the NAUTeach program, and provides extensive curriculum resources for K-20 preservice and inservice teachers.
