Research Opportunities for NAU Undergraduates
NAU/NASA Space Grant Intern Program
The Undergraduate Research Internship Program (UGRI) sponsored by the Arizona Space Grant Consortium provides paid research opportunities for full-time NAU undergraduate students in ALL majors to work with a mentor doing meaningful research.
Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Programs
The National Science Foundation funds a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students through its REU Sites program. An REU Site consists of a group of ten or so undergraduates who work in the research programs of the host institution (may be at a US or foreign location). Each student is associated with a specific research project to work closely with the faculty and other researchers. Students are granted stipends and, in many cases, assistance with housing and travel.
