The Office of the Vice President for Research at Northern Arizona University was established in summer 2007 to advance the scope and impact of scholarly work across campus. Dr. Laura Huenneke was appointed as the first permanent Vice President for Research in February 2008. The Office of the VPR is located in the Applied Research and Development Building, designed to maximize both environmental sustainability and interdisciplinary interactions.
